Blueprint for Interactive Classrooms - Partner Helsinki University of Technology, Finland The Finnish consortium is coordinated by Helsinki University of Technology, Centre for Educational Technologies. Centre for Educational Technologies Centre for Educational Technologies brings together HUT's resources like the video studio, CATV based campus network, CBT production teams, telematic learning services, satellite down-link, video and audio conferencing facilities and ODL pilot projects and research. TechNet Finland (hosted by HUT) is a national network which facilitates cooperation between enterprises and universities (80 members in Finland). Special expertise telematic services and network brokerage in European environment. National access point to all technical training, link to telematic operators in Finland. Lifelong Learning Institute Dipoli (HUT Dipoli) with its appr. FIM 50 million turnover and 90 staff (1994) is the largest continuing engineering education provider in Finland. Dipoli has coordinated several COMETT and TEMPUS projects in which European wide training programmes have been implemented.
